Before the pandemic, some companies were already using the videoconferencing app Zoom for business meetings, interviews, and other purposes but nothing like now, and schools generally weren't doing anything of this sort.
These days, many schools have moved to Zoom for face-to-face and group get-togethers, as well as for teaching sessions or checking in with students.
This is a guide for those who haven’t tried Zoom or who aren’t yet completely familiar with its features (or who have joined other peoples meetings, but want to start initiating their own meetings).
This training session is online, so can be used from school or home, and covers:
Signing up for Zoom
Starting a 'Meet now' session
Inviting people to meetings
Starting a scheduled meeting
Showing faces - options, backgrounds, views, hiding non-video participants
Sharing your scree - pause, annotate
Talk and allow others to talk
Attending someone elses meeting
Removing background noise
See who attended
This course can be purchased as a one-off for £99, but is also included FREE OF CHARGE with our unlimited training package.
