Creating school databases with Microsoft Access

WHY ATTEND

Microsoft Access is a standard part of Microsoft Office that is often not used by schools.  It can however, be used to create databases that hold information, offer an easy to use ‘front-end’ screen, can analyses, sort, subtotal etc., and can then print reports, letters, labels, emails etc., very easily.

Perhaps you would like to create your own Inventory? Or a lettings system? Or something that records laptops on loan or bookings of equipment? Parent helpers or Peripatetics?

The aim of this course, is to enable schools to create their own databases with data entry screens, analysis tools and reporting options.

his course is designed for any school staff who would like to do learn how to create databases. No prior knowledge is required.

he sessions are delivered live over the internet –4 x 1 hour sessions over successive weeks.
