Monitor Food Diaries
 

One of the key factors of success in weight management, is knowing what you really eat and drink during the course of the day.  

Fit File helps you to work this out by providing a Food Diary that you can enter all food, drink, supplements etc into to find out any areas of excess or deficiency. 

You select food items from our database of thousands of items, and simply click to add them to the diary entries for a given day.

When you enter a food item, full nutritional information is shown about the food including calories, carbs, net carbs, fat, fibre, sugar, cholesterol, GI rating, 'The Zone' levels, and 25 vitamins and minerals.

It's really easy to find foods - simply type the first few letters of the food into the diary and a list of options appears to pick from. In this example if you are looking for a Milky Way, just typing in ‘Milky’ and three options appear - Milky Way, Milky Bar and Milky bar buttons - and you simply have to tick the right one.

As you continue to enter items, totals are calculated at the bottom of the screen and compared to the Target or Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) for each nutrient.

By using the scroll bars the different nutrients can be viewed showing their totals for the day compared to the target.

Once your information has been entered, lots of feedback and reporting can be produced including

  • Daily and Weekly summaries for Food Intake

  • Daily and Weekly summaries for Exercise taken

  • Daily and Weekly combined summaries
