Manual Installation of Private Funds Manager after RTE53

 

If the Private Funds Manager auto-run installation encounters problems giving a Run Time Error 53, you can install the program manually using the following procedure.

 

 

 

  1. Create a folder in your required location and call it PFM,  eg S:\PFM. Ensure all required users have full supervisor access to this folder.

 

  1. Put the CD into the drive and use Windows Explorer, My Computer or something similar, locate the CD drive and right-click it, then select EXPLORE. Look into the folder on the CD called MAIN.

 

  1. Double-click on the file in MAIN called PFM

 

  1. Double click on the application file called SETUP. Follow through the onscreen installation instructions.

 

  1. To create a shortcut to the program from your desktop, go to your desktop and Right click on the desktop (somewhere other than where a current shortcut is located) and choose NEW – SHORTCUT.

 

  1. Browse to the PFM folder created in step1 and click on the application file called PFM

 

  1. Click on the NEXT button and then the FINISH button. Now double click the shortcut to run the program.
